Sky Train to Atlantis
May 24, 2014

Hopping on a Sky Train is just a rare activity to do so but this sky train departing from the Palm Gateway will take you to Atlantis through the path of Palm Jumeirah, where worldwide wealthy people dwell for their leisure time. If time allowed, it is one of the places you may want to visit.
To get to the Palm Jumeirah Gateway station, you need to take a cab from your hotel or the Metro stations at either Dubai Internet City or Nakheel. I caught a cab from the later station and headed to the Gateway station. The station is modern and attendants are helpful. You should not have any problem obtaining tickets to Atlantis. A one way fare to Atlantis is 15AED but you will smartly get a 25AED round trip.

Most passengers were tourists from around the world, specifically Japanese, Chinese, and Indians when I was on board. Trains do not stop at some stations while all passengers anyway head to the last station, Atlantis. It is only about a 10 minute ride each way. Upon arrival in Atlantis, you will walk through Starbucks on your left and you are already in the Atlantis building. There are many activities that you can enjoy, such as Waterpark.
It is worth visiting both Atlantis and the Palm Jumeirah itself. You will know how such a big project can take place every minute in Dubai, where it attracts hard money from across the globe.
