Room 4213 (left) and the large window in the shower room (right)
Suzhou Marriott is located in a business district of the city or 10 minutes away from the main shopping street for tourists and residents. The city itself is compact so hiring a cab is one of the easiest options to travel out of the hotel.
This hotel is very identical as its 48th story building is one of the tallest buildings in the town. I stayed in the 42nd executive floor and the view from the room was decent if there was no hazy air around. One attractive function of the room is that this shower room has a window to enjoy the populous city of Suzhou.
Otherwise, the room is well-equipped, like other worldwide hotel chains. Sofa and a business desk are quite useful. The bathroom is clean and spacious. However, nothing much special as recently-built hotels now offer much handsome products throughout the property.
Spacious executive lounge
Executive lounge is cozy and nicely wide-spread. Food selection in both happy hour as well as breakfast lacks to appeal lounge guests. However, the lounge attendants are always helpful and friendly.
Overall, this hotel could be one of the best choices in Suzhou if you are to travel there for over nights. Price is inexpensive if it is weekend or a non-convention season. The rate I have paid was slightly above 800CNY per night, which could be about the average in a winter/spring season. However, there are many other choices of other Marriott's as well as Hilton and Crowne Plaza in town, which yield less expensive.

10 yields exceptionally excellent while 1 is exceptionally poor.
