Great service in Dubai KFC
As a foreign visitor to Dubai for the first time, international franchise stores, like McDonald’s and KFC, make me feel relief, especially for the first day arrival in the evening time. I decided to step into KFC while my first choice was McDonald’s, which was not around the hotel I stayed on the first night. There was a long line into the cashier desk but the long line quickly eliminated to my turn. I was worried how I spoke to order but I heard only English in the store. Everyone from customers to employees spoke English in the store and it was like English was a first language here.
Nothing to worry at all. I had no problem ordering my various meals. Rather I was very surprised how service-oriented KFC employees were. Both U.S. and Chinese KFCs probably offer the worst service but in my global franchise restaurant dining experience, Dubai (KFC) is the best, even better than Japan and Singapore. As Dubai has turned into a tourism economy, it seemed they have “quickly” learned how to treat customers from all over the world. The “quickly” means education in Dubai or UAE is complimentary. Thus every citizen in Dubai or UAE can learn into higher education without any disruption.
A combination of the high education and the tourism-led economy probably has easily made Dubai the international travel destination. My KFC experience clearly changed my perspective toward Dubai and leaned some culture as well.
