Desert Safari Tour

This tour turned out to be the most thrilling experience among my leisure trips. If you are not traveling for the business, it is time to look for an optional tour going far out of Dubai downtown. In fact, it is not far. The tour driver will pick you up in the hotel lobby at around 3:00pm and you are ready to depart for the amazing fun evening desert experience.
You will share with some other guests from the other hotels but the SUV car fits only 4-5 passengers so you don't experience long detour while the driver is picking up the guests. On the way into the desert, the driver will stop you at a gas station for last minute brief rest, where you can shop some water bottles and use a bathroom. The other reason the car stop here is that this is the meeting point for all the other drivers who are picking up the guests from the other hotels. During the tour, at least seven SUV cars tandemly drove into the desert after resting at the gas station.

Then, you want to recheck your seatbelts fasten and the SUV follows the other SUVs to drive up and down. It is safe and what you just need to do is to hold onto it. That is it. After less than an hour, you will get to see a bunch of camels, and you will stop there to have photos taken with you and the camel. While an hour ride in the middle of desert, you will also stop by several spots to enjoy and experience the real desert.

You will start to enjoy stars in the sky. Dinner is delicious because you are maybe hungry but the reason it is delicious is probably that you are having dinner in the middle of desert. The tour staff and drivers are really friendly. You should ask them should you need any help.
At 9:00pm, the driver will take you back to your hotel. It takes about only 30 minutes because the village is actually located nearby the highway. I gave a 30AED tip to the driver upon the arrival back to my hotel. It is not necessary but I just wanted to express how much I enjoyed this desert safari tour operated by the Orient Tours LLC.
