Abra Ride between Gold Souq and Old Souq

After you walk through the Gold Souq, you will still want to head to the river side to enjoy an Abra ship ride to Old Souq. On the Abra ship, your neighbors are mostly kind local people. You always have a place to sit down and relax because the ship will not depart until every seat is taken. However, the ship departs very frequently and you will not wait any longer. Five minutes is the maximum you may wait.
Fare between the Souqs or the fare per ride is 1AED per person. I did not know the price until a local passenger next to me kindly had told me. It is cheap but this 1 AED will give you a fantastic river view along with the old towns on the both sides. It is worth hopping on.
For your convenience, you can easily access to Al Ghubaiba Metro station after arriving at Old Souq. Just walk to the right after disembarking. You will see Central Bank of U.A.E. on your left and the Metro station on your right. Or walk to the left to Old Souq to enjoy shopping and the beautiful scenery of the river.
